A premium digital experience for a Sri Lankan organic export brand — a site that carries the care behind the produce all the way through to the buyer.
Samagi Organics — project visual

Samagi Organics grows and exports organic produce from Sri Lanka to buyers who have never seen the land it comes from. Everything that makes the business worth choosing — the growing, the sourcing, the standards — happens long before a shipment leaves the country, and none of it was visible online. We built the site that makes it visible.

Export buyers judge a supplier on what they can verify from a browser tab. The brand's existing presence read like a directory listing: a name, a category and a contact form. Nothing in it separated Samagi from any other exporter in the same search results, and nothing carried the story of how the produce is actually grown. The site had to do the work a factory visit would.
- 01
Understand the buyer, not just the brand
We started with who the site is really for — wholesale buyers, distributors and retail partners evaluating a supplier from another continent. That set the whole structure: credibility first, catalogue second, contact always within reach.
- 02
Design around the produce
The visual language was built from the product itself rather than a stock template — generous imagery, restrained typography and plenty of space, so the produce is the loudest thing on the page. Every screen was designed mobile-first, because a good share of enquiry traffic arrives on a phone.
- 03
Bring the origin story into the browser
A 3D experience anchors the narrative sections, letting a visitor move through the story of where the produce comes from instead of scrolling past a paragraph about it. It degrades to a static composition on devices that cannot render it, so the story survives on any hardware.
- 04
Make ordering the obvious next step
E-commerce was layered on top of the storytelling rather than bolted beside it, so a buyer convinced by the origin story never has to go looking for the way to act on it.
Samagi Organics now has a presence that matches the product: one place that establishes credibility, tells the origin story and takes an order, on a foundation the team can extend as new produce lines and markets come online.
